I got Jonah this floatie swimsuit for when we're at the pool in the Dominican Republic next week. I've heard that it's better for teaching kids to swim than the armband-style floaties. He loves the suit! I took it off him and he just wanted me to put it on again! I think it looks hilarious on him.

I have one of those that I tried on Abigail last summer. One thing I didn't like about it was that when they are in the water, the suit floats up to their ears. At least mine brand did, maybe yours will work better.
